Life at Windyhall

Windyhall Care Home is unique; when you’re in need of a little quiet time, the relaxing lounge is the perfect place for you to sit back with a good book and some delicious home baking. There are two spacious lounges available to socialise in with the other residents and a range of activities on offer ensure that each day holds something new and interesting.

Sometimes a breath of fresh air is exactly what the doctor ordered – our beautiful gardens and patio area are the perfect place for our residents to enjoy the sunshine. Should you wish to go further afield our Activities Co-ordinators regularly arrange day-trips to local attractions.

For many of us, good food is one of the greatest enjoyments in life. In the morning we offer cooked breakfasts, cereals, fresh fruits, and toast. We offer an array of lunch and dinner options on our ever changing daily menus, and home baking and fresh fruit platters are provided each day. Our daily menus are displayed on a board in our dining room in pictorial as well as written format, and we also actively encourage feedback from our residents on the menus severed.
